Proud owners of The Sugartree Inn since February 2004, we are originally from London, England (a place once described by a guest as 'the Mother Ship'). It took us two years to find The Right Place and felt at home as soon as we entered Vermont.

Maxine, former Sports Marketing executive, dog lover, AGA fanatic (some say obsessive - don't get her started...), reformed shopaholic. Travelled (and shopped) all over the world, met all kinds of people, couldn't wait to get home.

Graham, former musician, graphic designer, classic car lover, MAC fanatic (some say obsessive - don't get him started...). Travelled (toured) all over the place, met all kinds of people, couldn't wait to get to the next place.

Oh, and Beckham the Labradoodle, named after the recently retired England soccer captain David Beckham (because he's so good looking....according to Maxine) he was a nightmare for the first year, now he's a good boy!

We have eight great rooms, Twin, Full, Queen and King size beds, each with private, ensuite bathrooms, a delicious three-course breakfast and a cozy lounge with a welcoming log fire.

There's always plenty to do and enjoy during your stay at AGA at the Sugartree Inn. Great hiking, biking, motorcycling, golf, fishing, horse riding, gliding and skiing. Perhaps you're looking for a romantic getaway, or maybe just the simpler pleasures of the spectacular scenery that the Green Mountains of Vermont have to offer. Summer and Fall provides the opportunity for a huge range of outdoor activities and in the winter we're the Sugarbush B&B, being by far the closest Sugarbush bed & breakfast (even closer than the Sugarbush Inn!) to Lincoln Peak at Sugarbush and a short drive to the challenging trails of Mad River Glen.

It's the perfect place for a getaway - no TV's but DVD players with an ever-growing library and we were one of the first bed and breakfasts in Vermont's Mad River Valley to offer wireless internet access.
